Such a shame both of these threads are dead! Here's to hoping we can get these threads alive again! And maybe with less negative back and forth? That's kind of hard for a forum, though lol

I'm an ENTP (and stereotypically so. I had an INFP friend confirm). I've gotten INTJ 3 or 4 times on 16Personalities and on one other test. I'm "The Enthusiast" as an Enneagram type, as well.

INFP - my therapist used this to help me many many years ago  - and it worked. 

The tools she gave me then based on my personality type serve me well STILL to this day. 

I am forever grateful to her - she is long gone but her brilliance and magic are always with me.

What's with all the other INFPs on here? When I took the test it said it was a rare personality type :-(


Granted how different I am from the other INFPs here, I don't really see the test as something that can be useful. I could just as easily use Hogwarts houses.

@calgor Did you read the descriptions of what the letters mean? They also give you a description of the personality type that you are.

The thing people should realize is that they WILL be mistyped (you have a roughly 75% of being mistyped, actually lmao) and that the Myers-Briggs types is very much a rabbit hole of information to delve into. It's been taking me months to understand all this and I still have a long ways to go. Like I said before, I've been mistyped as INTJ multiple times, but I am, undoubtedly, ENTP. Also, in terms of relationships (We are all probably interested in this, or maybe just my own curiosity) the perfect counter part to the ENTP is the INTJ or INFJ. ENFPs will have great relationships with ISTJs and INTPs (I think) and so on. There are some YouTube channels that I suggest people check out , James Frank, Love Who and Melissa Talks all have great info and funny vids to check out. James Frank is great if you want comedy and maybe see if can accurately portray your type in different situations.
