Obamascare: 60% of online Obamacare defenders 'paid to post' hits on critics
#1
Yeah, if you can't get grassroots support, just pay for it...

http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/obamas...le/2615774

Quote:A majority of online and social media defenders of Obamacare are professionals who are "paid to post," according to a digital expert.

"Sixty percent of all the posts were made from 100 profiles, posting between the hours of 9 and 5 Pacific Time," said Michael Brown. "They were paid to post."

His shocking analysis was revealed on this weekend's Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson, broadcast on Sinclair stations and streamed live Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Her upcoming show focuses on information wars and Brown was describing what happened when he had a problem with Obamacare and complained online.

Brown said that social media is used to manipulate opinion, proven in the last presidential election.

Isn't that what the media does these days in general and always has done in the past? Why choose story A over story B?

So wasn't the whole point of Medical care to make sure there was better health coverage for the entire population? A better levelling of the state of health of the nation?

Why does health have to be something only money can buy? Why is this not considered as a national wealth? Does it even make economic sense not to care how healthy your neighbour is, your child will be, and that your aging parents will be as healthy as possible and not need costly care in later life? Britain is going through some economic problems as its population ages and the National Health Service is going through adaptation problems. But very few want to lose the system. They want to improve it.

And, yes, I know that wasn't the point of your post, @kindy64. Your point was about corruption. But I still wonder why you care so little for the nation's general state of health when the country has the money, the technology and the carers to deal with this well.

1. It wasnt better it was just mandatory. Why do I need it? I was born in a hospital and I got physicals in the Army. Other than that Ive never needed a doctor. I should be forced to buy a product I dont need? If it were so good why were we forced to buy in or penalized for noncompliance? I was penalized those but cocksuckers will never break me. They try to take away freedom of choice in the land of the free. I take care of myself and Im healthy why should I be punished. But in the end we all die anyway and the world is overpopulated. Im a true American I believe in freedom of choice.

2. You need money for healthcare doctors aren't free, maybe in candyland where you live but some of us are in the real world. What do you pay in taxes over there I'll bet its between a shitload and a fuckton.

3. Why do we need to care about our fellows? I give you this much, I believe that we should help those that were born with a disability or were disabled through no fault of their own. The Mentally retarded and children need our help. But I know alot of fat bastards drug addicts and drunks that have health issues they brought on themselves and I dont cry a tear for them, nor would they get a red cent out of me to save their miserable life. Dont think me uncompassionate Ive saved five peoples lives, and I risked my life to save one of those, she was a child.

The #1 driver for being in good health, for the majority of people, is closely tied to individual behavior. Eating a balanced diet, and exercising give you the best odds of being healthy. How do you mandate personal responsibility?

Just like the police, who are there mostly to deal with the victims of crime that already happened, much of our healthcare system is there to deal with the victims of "self-abuse," ie living an unhealthy lifestyle. People want to eat crap, smoke, drink, not do any exercise, and wait until, SHOCKER, gee they need by-pass surgery. Or they get diabetes, or their obese. Certainly there are people who are genetically pre-disposed to some diseases/conditions, so THEY should be taking care of themselves MORE.

Preventative care is not a priority in our healthcare system. Why is that? Mostly because of the above, it requires a person to make good choices for their own benefits.

There's also no money in preventative care for the government/insurance/pharmco complex. Government mandates, insurance companies, and the pharmaceutical industry are feeding each other to drive up the cost of healthcare in this country.

Add to that, health care is not a universal right. Access to emergency care is a right, but someone has to pay for it. You make it universal, and people wait in line for shitty healthcare, or go outside the system to places where you can pay for better care.
