It has occured to me that given the number of people who use ATM machines and the like and how very rarely wash their hands, that the keys are a breeding ground for all sorts of germs so, instead of pressing the keys with your fingers, use something else like either end of a ballpoint pen etc. That way you can leave no mark at all.
