After a comment was left it got me think, How many of the members would for or against having an 18+ member locked Adult subforum? What would be the Pros and Cons to having this? Do you think it would make gs more active? I'd loved to hear comments from both sides.

I think I'm against (sorry for that).
Because 90% of gay sites include sex and when the word ''sex'' gets into the vocabulary of a site, others parts of the site are forgotten. and many focus on sex part. I come here because I can find people to talk and chat from daily life or feelings or an interesting thing I've experienced.

I'm not saying I'm strictly against because if that kind of section was created, I would attend, too. but my vote is against.

I think I know where romantic man is coming from, it's kinda nice to have a forum with lots of different guys talking about a lot of different things. Not that I'm a prude or anything and certainly enjoy the postings in 'the bulge' etc forum, but if you turn it into a sex site it will lose a lot of charm. Just my thought.

That's the thing, Our most active threads are on half naked men, Why not have a certain area just for things like this plus more. It would be more of a locked and able to hide area so what different would it make?

Haha! Yeah they are pretty active threads! So long as they aren't at the expense of the overall feel of the site, maybe it would be cool?

The other thing is half people who are locked out of a website because of their age just lie...

Now what I might suggest would be a forum or sub forum that only appears when you are logged in Ii.e. not public).

Also the age of consent varies in other countries, it is 18 in the US and 16 in other places...

Nothing to gain from an AO area.

Simple fact is there are very few, if any, members active that are under 18 anyway.

There's an age restriction on GS already. I like that we are mostly "safe for work" too.
It's not that I would be put off by more explicit posts. I just feel like we're a more friendly-advice-discussion board, which feels welcoming and open. The parents of a new come-out teen could come by here and ask advice without being met by hardcore porn. I think that's great. That's what GS is to me...

Well....it's a slippery slope, so to speak. The porn will only lead to erections which in turn leads to touching said erections, followed by furious masturbation and ultimately jizz everywhere. Whose job will it be to clean it all up. I suggest Virgo.
Personally, I like the thought of all those hard members here.
