Because I have been told that many times when I was in Hong Kong and definitely think that is true...no guy is attracted to me here...

They are assholes. Don't believe them. Why some people feel they need to say such unkind things is beyond me. Let me suggest that you just be friendly with new people you meet and see what happens. Friendliness is a very attractive trait and goes a long way in making friends or more.
