Call me biased, but I always really loved this song.

One thing Lou never did was write a bad song or have a bad performance.

As a teen in the 90s I remembered discovering Velvet Underground, it's hard to put in to words the impact of that music. Was good to not just be stuck in my era only. I remember hearing 'The Gift'; was strange hearing a very American sounding band and then suddenly a very Welsh sounding guy narrating a strange tale!!
