Greetings from Norway

Hi all, just wanted to say hi and that I have some great Lesbian and Gay friends in Oslo and the UK who inspired me to write and record a song. I've never done anything like this before and probably never will again, but it's a tick off my 'Bucket List'..lol

It's just a simple 'Live and let Live' vibe with a nod towards the 80s

forum rules don't allow me post a link as a newbie, but if you want to hear it and have a giggle, go on Youtube. Type in 'CELEBRATE THE RAINBOW' and you will see me on a Vespa Scooter (same as my profile pic). That's the song.

Hope you like it and if not..? please be kind. I'm a sensitive soul...lol x

Welcome to GaySpeak lanzilla, hope you enjoy your stay here. It would be interesting to know about the gay scene in Oslo, a city that I visited a long, long time ago.

Here's the link to your song:

Hi LONDONER and thank you for the kind welcome.

Ironically... the famous pub in Oslo Sentrum that is a hub for the Gay scene in Oslo is called the 'London Pub'
It's a cool place to have a drink and dance, although the price of drinks is expensive.

There is something wonderful about Scandinavian culture whereby I see and hear hardly any bad comments or prejudice and they live for the weekends here and enjoy.

It is a very safe city and nobody ever bothers you. I love this mentality.

You can book very cheap flights from UK Stansted with Ryanair to Oslo Gardemoen airport which is a 40 minute bus ride from Oslo Sentrum.

Maybe you should take a weekend break in the summer as Oslo is a beautiful city and you can take a coffee whilst overlooking the fjord. I bet it's changed a lot since your last visit..?

Oh... and thank you for posting the link for my song. I have never done anything like this before and my friends loved it. No motive for me other than for others to hear it, as I have done it just because I could. I'm proud of it for a first attempt and it was something I always wanted to do....lol

11 years now. Pretty stunning here too. I love it. Never see myself living in UK again.
