Yesterday's predicted storms never appeared. We had a short period of heavy rain, but no thunder, lightning, or high winds.

fed up of the weather forecast saying we have 89 percent chance of rain - so i tie my waterproofs around my waist - i pack my dogs coats in a shoulder bag as we can go out for 3 hours , not been rained on for last 3 days - do they just guess , thats a lot of extra weight to carry

Well, it's damn humid here. It only got up to about 80...but also had 80% humidity, no joke the dewpoint was up in the 70's...

In other weather related news. I've been programming a weather display sort of program (bad with names) for the last few weeks (I really have spent WAY too much time on it) and finally got it stable enough (no memory leaks) to run constantly. Does the 36 hour detailed forecast followed by a 4 day extended forecast, local observations and the doppler radar. Is able to display advisories and warnings from the NWS (if it can get them, their API is a bit wonky at times)... But going to try streaming it live on a regular basis.

It was great today and is supposed to be good tomorrow. After Monday though, it's supposed to be like, more than a week of thunderstorms.
