To be fair, with climate change being largely ignored, and politics heading backwards towards nationalism, I'd say going extinct within the next 100 years has never been more likely.

I might catch it if I'm unlucky.
At this point, I will push for what I believe is best to the best of my abilities, and outside of that, try my best to ignore how bad things look. No point getting depressed and pessimistic.
