And it's an amazing phone, but somehow I already have a scratch on it. I never had a scratch on my s5 and I never used a screen protector. I dropped it hundreds of times (had a case) but still never a scratch. Even my dog would paw at it when he wanted attention (yes I would give him attention) but now with this new phone I have scratches that I have no idea where they came from. They are hard to notice. But I know they are there. Shouldn't the screen be better? And yet it already has a scratch.

Yeah I bought an S7 Edge last year, still have it...brand new too. Dropped it on the ground shortly after getting it and shattered the screen.
I think the problem with what Samsung is doing is that they're making their devices so incredibly fragile and easy to break with the curved glass. Even a case can't offer full protection.
They're cool but I don't think they're packing anything that should require anyone to go buy a new phone. My S7 is already slowing down and I suppose that has to do with the Nougat upgrade that gets forced onto the device... Heck some manufacturers have been found guilty of putting code that slows it down to get you to want to buy a new phone...lovely.

I really like the look of it and I loved the s5 (until it started infinitely turning off and on again 2 years in) and did not feel like learning a different type of phone. The look is really nice with the curve, but I can see it being a problem. Now to not drop it until I get my case next week. I find the cases with the hard plastic on the back and then the hard rubber edges the most useful. I will miss looking at the purple back though

I really dislike being locked in to Apple's Terms of Business (has anyone ever really read the iTunes Terms of Buisiness?) but an iPhone is comparatively easy to use and they are better made that Samsung so my next upgrade will probably be another iPhone. The only reason I upgraded from 3 to 5 was because it became impossible to upgrade the system and there were certain apps. that couldn't be loaded.

I don't have the money for flagship phones.
My next phone will probably be the Nokia 5.
The guy I'm dating is going to pick up an S8 Soon though. So I might get to see one then.
