I bet it is really full on, and completely a difficult time. Hopefully that will be the last of the major hurdles, life likes to throw a few curve balls, but hopefully this will be the line between an ending and a new beginning! Good luck getting through it. And come back soon :-))

Oddly, it's not even that this site if overly sexual in conversation and as far as I know there isn't even any porn here.

When I first joined this forum 5 years ago, threre was a few women on the forum. I am glad that some new women have joined.

Oddly, it's not even that this site if overly sexual in conversation and as far as I know there isn't even any porn here.

It's called Empty Closets.... it seems like an even split between male and female there and also more trans and gender questioning folks as well. I joined there like the very first few days I started questioning... it's a great place that helps people who are coming out. This site (GS) seems to have less of the coming out aspect and more of the out aspect to it.

The exception would be a dating site I used to be part of that also has a social online chat friend element attached to it, but it's purpose is for finding romance not for connecting and chatting online, and it's not free.

That's kind of sad. I figured at least a part of the reason women where such a rare find here was because they had better options elsewhere. You'd think someone would've created something to cater to that market by now...

I may be wrong though, I honestly didn't find many sites for just chatting and making gay friends in general. Am I missing on this, are there a lot of these kinds of sites out there?
