cheers to that, who knows, i might even move there some day

fjp999 Wrote:sivvo, when you write of Fiji it sounds familiar to me... I have a V-Boy from South Africa and he describes his life as similar to what you start to describe. If you dont mind describing the issues you live under being a native Fiji would be great to try to understand my VSA...

You mention "responsibilities" "god" and more... great you have gotten use to it... my SA friend seems to be stuck between 2009 and 300BC Disoriented

Of course, not sure if we are talking about the same thing... if you want to discuss this in public or in a PM to me would be greatly appreciated. Bow

ok, firstly i am not a native fijian (although i was born there), i am a "fiji-indian" or "indo-fijian" (my ancestors moved from india to fiji), the native people dont wanna call us "fijian", although we have been living there for over a hundred years :frown: so racial tension is the main problem in fiji (they dont care about gay people, they just make fun of us). And when i write about "responsibilities", they are personal family issues, and dont relate to fijians as a whole.

As for the native fijians, many of my friends are fijian and they are a very friendly people (as known all over the world), but when it comes to their land they dont wanna share, hehe, thats how i feel (but the again, politics is 100% corrupted in Fiji). Most Fijians are Christians, although they do maintain many of their ancient traditions. I can't really say what issues they live under, because i havent noticed any, but i dont think its anything much like SA. All I can say is that they have maintained a tight control over their land, and they are very closely bonded with it (traditionally).

so, whatever other questions you have, fire them at me, i'll try to make sense of them as much as i can

The ones who just run away from you because you're gay they don't deserve any of your time. Hugs!!
