He's in Cagliari, which is the capital of the Mediterranean island of Sardinia... Lovely place... but very warm (or hot, as it happens). Sardinia has one of the richest coasts in all of Italy, in the north where millionnaires own lovely mansions and beach houses (or should we call them villas?) I believe it's called the Costa Esmeralda. (Emerald coast)
