circumcised vs uncircumcised

I've totally gotta vote for circ*mcised, to me it just looks alot better and more of a turn on. I'm glad i had it done as a child because i don't know if i could bring myself to have it done later in life.

Well, I'm uncircumcised and my partner is circumcised. He prefers the way I look, and I don't really have a preference.. He just looks fantastic to me regardless.

I voted Circumcised, but really it doesn't matter in the least. As long as it works and is clean than I'm happy. It also comes down to the guy, I would take a uncircumcised sweetheart over a circumcised douch*bag any day.

I have never seen like one on one an uncut penis. So I dunno. I've seen them in pornos before, but never outside of a porno so I dunno. I like them cut though.

I agree, I can't see how any parent could abuse their child in this way, it should be a personal choice or medical necessity not forced by religion or tradition.

The only reason circmcsion has been mentioned in sacred books or practiced as tradition by other many ppl ( those predating judeo-christianity) such as the elite Egyptians, is because circum is healthy. In other words, it has nothing to do with being spiritual (after all human beings are the creators of beliefs and G-ds) it has more to do with medical reasons than anything else. Just like anything else mentioned in many religions (those writing scriptures were very educated in terms of astrology. science, physics, medicine, alchemy and of course story-telling). Have u ever wondered why some scriptures tell you not to eat pork or snakes? or wear clothes made out of certain fabrics?

The lie that circumcision is important to male health and well-being has been exposed many times, but I guess the vested interests who continue to promote this abuse are alive and mutilating.

If you want to chop the end off your knob, feel free to do so by all means when you are old enough to make cosmetic decisions for yourself, but no adult should have the right to mutilate children for religious, cultural, cosmetic or, indeed, for spurious health claims. Circumcision is not an all-purpose prophylactic. Circumcision is, above anything else, an ethical issue.

The media has been the greatest promoter of male circumcision in North America. They are always ready to publicize the latest research in Africa, India, or some other remote part of the word indicating the possible advantages of circumcision. Why these studies were not done in North America, or why the results could not be confirmed by similar studies in Canada or the USA, are never explained. Nor is there ever any explanation as to the relevance of studies done in Africa to justify circumcision in North America. As an example, several studies claim that circumcision prevents the spread of the AIDS virus or STD, yet advocates of circumcision are unable to explain why the USA (where the majority of males are circumcised) has the highest rates of these diseases of any industrialized nation in the world.


Edward O. Laumann, Ph.D; Christopher M. Masi, M.D; Ezra W. Zuckerman MA reviewed a number of studies which claimed that circumcision would prevent STD, sexual dysfunction and other aspects of circumcision. Their conclusions were published (CIRCUMCISION IN THE UNITED STATES) in the Journal of the American Medical Association, Volume 277, Number 13: Pages 1052 -1057. With regard to sexually transmitted diseases they stated: " ... we found no evidence of a prophylactic role of circumcision and a slight tendency in the opposite direction." There are other factors such as the number of sexual partners etc. which determine the spread of STD - not circumcision.
