I took this shot in either 2012 or 2013.  It's slightly moody shot that I think I took late one afternoon.  Without that cast iron barrier it wouldn't be the same photo.  It sort of "leads" your eye in to the park.

Oh I really like this. It's a sunny day, but you're right, it looks moody.

And yes, the barrier does lead your eye into the park.

Thank @CellarDweller.  It's odd, I posted ts on another forum together with some other shots I had taken in the Park and almost didn't include this one but it was the one photo that attacted most favourable comments.
