Bloomfield St. Patrick’s Day Display Delights Some, Offends Others

With each holiday's arrival, one constant in Bloomfield is an imaginative scene on display in front of 226 Lakewood Drive 

From elaborate Christmas displays to an essential workers tribute during the pandemic, resident James Joanow utilizes mannequins to help celebrate the upcoming holiday/event. 

This year, for Saint Patrick's Day, the festive scene features 13 mannequins and the property and thousands of orange and green lights. According to Joanow, the theme is a "St.  Patricks Day Disco Party."  "At night, when the lights go on, I play all classic disco music. The display will be up till St.  Patrick's Day on March 17th."

Oh dear indeed haha.

I find mannequins creepy, and in this case it isn't helped by the uplighting of the mannequins when it gets dark. Maybe this should be his Halloween decor

There is a dentist office in another town that uses mannequins at Halloween, then again for Christmas, and again on Easter.

Always dressed in themed lingerie, they've become known as the "Holiday 'hos'"

Why is there a 'Caution' cordon around some of the dolls?

I'm sure at night his house has been mistaken for an Irish themed brothel!
