Written in 1913, in an Edwardian era that criminalised homosexual acts between two men, author Edward Morgan Forster wrote this novel of requited and unrequited love between two men, which was never printed until the author had died. The book gave way to a James Ivory film in 1987 which featured Hugh Grant, Rupert Graves and James Wilby.
