I Don't know what I want.
#1
So I am so single. I have been set up with several guys over the past year. I have also dated 2 AMAZING guys! However, something has to always come along and ruin it. This is my problem, I find a guy that I really REALLY like! We hit it off, we laugh, we go out and do the same things. Then, something always have to come and ruin it for us. Either, he moves or his career is taking him somewhere else for a while or I tend to push them away because I have that inevitable fear of knowing that, that is going to happen. I don't know. I see all these guys who are in love. Well, not just guys, I mean like people. You know what really upsets me too? I know people who cheat on their boyfriends and girlfriends, or they just treat them like shit. Here I am, you know, a GREAT guy (ifidontmindsaysingso), who doesn't take things for granted. And yet, I am single. I know that someday, though, I will score one for the good guys. Wink

Ask yourself do you really want to be in a relationship at the moment?

Don't feel obliged to be in a relationship, if you would rather be single. Don't feel obliged to be in a relationship now just because you know you will want to be in one later.

This last part seems to be the only illogical part you write about... It does seem odd to me that you would push someone away just because you believe something might happen Scared you might have a fear of relationships or a fear that something might happen...

If you dont take the plunge you wont get the relief of that cool cool water  [/COLOR]

your only 27, i know that may be rich coming from a 15 year old but you still are young and should still be having fun, said that if you feel you need to settle down then if you like someone you cant push them away if they leave for a wee while, if you think its worth it then they will also and brave the cold, becase wehn they come back it will only make you stronger together

Does anybody 100% truly know what they want?

To me life is about chances - not about certainty.

You can never progress with out taking a risk.

The hardest part is to know what you want.... once you know is much easier to get it! Personally it has been a difficult 'exercise' for me too. I think is a good start to know what you DON'T want and start from there.
