Hi Guys Smile

I'm interested to know....

How often do you
- Sweep your floor at home
- Mop your floor at home
- Clean the toilet/bathroom
- Do your laundry

Do you prefer using a vacuum cleaner instead of a broom to sweep the floor?

As for me,

Sweeping floor - Once in 2 days or 3 days
Mopping floor - Once a week
Cleaning toilet/bathroom - Once a week or once in 2 weeks (if I am too busy)
Doing laundry - Once every 3 days

How about you guys? Smile

Cleaning is therapeutic ? I usually sweep twice a week but I am in an apartment so it's really just a small kitchen and bathroom, laundry twice a week and I clean everything else on Sunday. Sunday is usually my day to prepare for the week.

- Sweep your floor at home - When it needs to be swept. I sweep the kitchen floor at least once a day because of food crumbs, etc.
- Mop your floor at home - Once a week for the entire apartment.
- Clean the toilet/bathroom - Not that often, maybe once a month.
- Do your laundry - depends on what you mean by laundry. I change my bedsheets once a week and wash other clothes whenever they're dirty.

Basically, I clean stuff when I see it needs to be cleaned, not just for the sake of it.

Our cleaning schedule depends on visitors. Dinner guests require vacuuming the living area floors and carpets and what I call surfaces (shelves, sills, tables, piano, sofas), which happens about every 2 weeks. Overnight visitors get the full condo cleaning.
We don’t mop the tile floors, vacuuming with brush is enough
Toilets every 2 weeks
Laundry every 2-3 days when we have a full load

Well,,,

Clean the kitchen 4 or 5 times a day (hubby is appropriately nicknamed Pig-Pin)

Clean the toilets whenever someone misses the correct spot (both no. 1 and no. 2)...

Wash the sheets when my noze detects that Old-Man smell lingering in the bedroom...

Mop the floors when I see brown streaks from the little doggies skooting their bums across the floors...

And,,, occassionally I pull my false teeth out and clean my mouth (dirty old bugger I am)....

Sin-cerely,

I don't really have any set routines but the habit I have is cleaning everything in the moment when I see it needs to be cleaned.

I vacuum once or twice a day to get rid of dust and I wash the counters and  floors whenever I see dirt or crumbs - it only takes a few minutes.

Same with the bathroom.

I spend the most time "cleaning" my garden Big Grin It is one of my favorite things to do - I check out all the plants to make sure they are OK and and every year I buy ladybugs and preying mantis bugs to populate the garden and eat all the pests - after many years now I have colonies of them living in the yard - way better than using pesticides.
