Hey i'm Demi. I'm from the States but my job has me stuck in Japan and various other parts of the world at times. I'm attempting to learn how to be social, but it's been a fairly difficult process...so yeah hi!

Hi Demi. Welcome to the site and hope you find yourself at home here Wavey

Japan can be a very odd but fantastic place. I lived there for nearly a decade (a bit too long for my taste but that is another story). It has been a while since living there but I keep up with lots of friends there. I am sure there have been many changes.

My partner talks about how society has become even more impersonal with the arrival of high speed internet and the wired community.

It can take some time to become use to a society that is so very very very different than one is accustom to but fun at the same time.

What kind of work do you do to take you to Japan so often?
