My phone's memory card broke two nights ago. On it, I had some pictures of sexy guys. One of these was new, and not in my most recent backup. It was, alas, my favourite.
I have searched far and wide for it, but to no avail. I turn to you guys now, to beg for your assistance.

The description of the picture is as follows:
On it is a sexy, lithely muscled guy, standing facing the camera. He might be a model. He has shortish, dark-brown, spiky hair. He is wearing green, almost khaki, or army-green, briefs. I think they were designer briefs, but I'm not sure. The background of the picture is pure black. As it was from some website, the picture has some writing, in white, on top. I cannot remember what it says.

I found the picture using Google Image Search, but can't remember the search terms.

Please, please help me find this picture. It was perfect as a wallpaper for my phone and I was going to make a theme using it.
If you happen to find something that might be it, please let me know.

I am sure that I could do a google image search using brown haired model wearing khaki briefs and bring up some images but would not be sure if it was what youre looking for.

btw, this is the nature of the beast. digital is rather ethereal and one cant cry over lost digi. I have lost whole hard drives and just moved on.[/COLOR]

My card broke, literally. I have no idea how, but it just has a big chunk missing and some exposed innards. As for the picture, I just figured, most anyone here is better than me at Googling and I am really desperate to find that picture again...

Sorry to hear of your loss, bit if your memepry card was that damaged I don't see a way of recovering the data.

As for finding the picture on the net, good luck. There are so many pictures out there on so many sites it would be finding a needle in a haystack.

Is it just the outer plastic casing thats broken/missing? or is the inner
circuitboard damaged as well?
If its just the casing, the card should be still readable...try gluing the broken
piece back on (asuming you have it) and see if it will work.

Tried that, didn't work. When I put the card in my PC it didn't read and when I took it out it was very hot...

Like the others have said it'll be a bit like looking for a needle in a haystack looking for it. But good luck with finding it again!

If it got that hot, sounds like there there is now a short circuit in it.

While there data recovery services out there that could probably recover
your files (asuming the actual memory chips in the card are ok), that type
of service is expensive.

I think your best hope is to try hard to remember what the image text said
(or even part of it)...that is the one thing that might give it away.

How long ago did you find it? Did you use your PC or the phone to
download it? If you used your PC and its only been a week or so, the image
is probably still in your browser's cache folder...
