Gay is a person who has realized who he is.

Nobody can define 'gay', but everyone can define what 'gay' means to them.

And when you've gotten comfortable with your definition of 'gay', then can say 'I'm gay.'.

I don't think it's a type of sexual gender, or anything actually... just a way to call somebody who calls himself gay. I mean, you wouldn't call somebody who's telling everyone 'I'm straight' a gay, would you?

So if I am able to put down a definition of the word 'gay' in my own terms, and get comfortable with it, then I can be finally be gay.

Am I trying to be gay?

It looks like it..... It looks like I WANT to be gay. That's why I'm thinking so much about it.

Seriously... I've not seen any gay porn in my life. I've passed it a number of times but never actually looked.

However,

Lately I've found out that I have the capability to have sex with another male. I've just grown comfortable with the idea.

And it's not about the bodily pleasure of it, although I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it.... I like it very much in deed... But there's much more to the idea of having sex with another male. It's much more.... liberating.

Interesting, but why do you say that? The kinds of love between brothers, between fathers and sons and between friends, for example, are somewhat different from the love that exists between partners.

The word 'love' means many different things. Romantic love, love of family, love of friends, love of home, love of country, love of music, etc. All quite different, but all powerful feelings.

I think you are trying to analyze something which is a feeling thereby making it elusive in the first place, in my 60 years I have found my gay friends to be more intouch with their feelings and more able to express their feelings verbally than my non-gay friends. I disagree with the statement that if you have had sex with another man you are pretty much gay. If you all what me to elaborate on this let me know. Pretty much if you go down the street looking at the males if your male and thinking about how they look and what it would be like with them you are probably gay, but if you also care so much about someone of the same sex you cry when bad things happen you better take a good look at yourself.
