I'm trying to figure out what being gay means, and one of the common definition that comes up is the sex part.

That if you have had sex with another man, you're gay.

So I supposed, if a straight person such as myself, got raped by another man, would that make me gay?

I don't think so.

But if I liked the sexual pleasure of getting fucked by another man, even under forced circumstances, then yeah... there's a BIG chance I'm gay.

That is controversial! I may be gay, but I doubt I would get much pleasure from being coerced into sex. I'm sure not many women have enjoyed being assaulted either.

Being gay is, I believe, the capacity to enjoy being with another man, enjoying his attention and his love, and enjoying his body too (when that is possible) but I don't think rape has anything to do with being gay. It's an abuse of power over anyone, be they children, women or other men. For that matter, rape bears little ressemblance to real sex... It's just violence but in a sexual form.

There are two things I want to establish.

2. Having sex with another man may have something to do with being gay, but only a part of it.

The above two statements are my thoughts, they may be correct, they may be wrong.
