Yes I read a report on this a couple of days ago. Interesting that strong opposition to this came from one of the local leaders who supported the establishment of the straight brothels. Apparently, the main problem in legalising sex with male prostitutes was that the statute insisted that sex workers had to have regular cervical examinations ... if I remember the article correctly.
