OK, so Tim Ferriss, who is the New York Times #1 bestselling author of the 4 Hour Workweek (awesome book btw), has just come out with what is definitely going to become a cult-classic, and perhaps stir up some fun controversy too: the 4-Hour Body.
I love this bit from an article about the book:
As one MD from a well-known Ivy League university said to me over lunch: "We’re trained for 20 years to be risk-averse. I’d like to do the experimentation, but I’d risk everything I’ve built over two decades of schooling and training by doing so. I’d need an immunity necklace. The university would never tolerate it." He then added: “You can be the dark horse.â€Â
The book is definitely a "buffet" of stuff I'd never do/touch/believe, and then some stuff that knocks your pants off. Can't wait to try some of it out.
Here's a link to the table of contents (bit.ly/ fCfo7u - yeah, just skip over the hetero-sex part!), and the precocious first chapter (his writing style seems grating at first, but once used to it, it's pretty damn fun.)
One of only two blogs I subscribe to.
Enjoy!
