MOO: It's so hard when you fall for a guy you know is straight isn't it! I spent a year living with a guy I was crazy for, and at some points I actually thought he might have felt the same, but hes in a serious straight relationship now so I'm glad I didn't chase that up! It was nice with him though. He was really comfortable with me and we used to lie together on the sofa and sometimes we'd get into each others beds in the mornings and shit. I'd be thinkin, wow, what if we actually were together... He'd probably freak out if he found out about me now, knowin how physically close we had been then...

I think it's ok for you to exchange in each other's threads. We can feed from others' experiences that way.

Show him you care by respecting his wish to keep her secret. Maybe he's not all that certain about her feelings for him?

Jay, the first bit of coming out is always to ourselves. It's perfectly in order for you to try out the language of coming out here first, even if at present you have no intention of coming out to people face to face. This experience will give you that little bit of practice for when you need to respond.

MARSH: I know what you mean, I suppose I'm tryin to hurry the process on a bit, to me it feels like the longer I keep quiet, the bigger the deal it's gonna be when I finally do tell people yano?

Well, try not to leave it till you get into your 40s like I did ... although the sky didn't actually fall in it came pretty close.

I can honestly see that happening lol! Theres no rush, I don't know how to find a guy anyway. I don't have any gay friends and I've never even seen a gay bar let alone step in one!
