Was? Mein Deutsch nicht so gut ist? Also, ich muà besser arbeiten, nicht wahr? would make much more sense, I'm afraid. So yes, the answer is you need to work on it a little more, to get the constructions right, as Soxy has suggested.
Verstanden is the verb form (past participle of the verb verstehen) you need for 'Understood'.

I was taught all of the above.Just did''nt practice it or keep it up.
