Is it OK to pay?
#1
Hi guys, I have a question for you..

Fact: Most older gays like younger guys.

Fact: Most younger gays prefer guys their own age.

Fact: The lack of wife and kids means that most older gays are OK for cash.

Fact: Most students are broke.

So a question for the younger guys here:

Does the idea of entertaining a guy who is older than you normally fancy, in return for some drinking money:

a) Disgust you
b) Is not for you, but not a problem
c) OK when you're out of cash
d) Fine any day

Cheers,

Red

Well....I definitely am not attracted to younger guys (or anyone under 40 really) and just as I was creeped out by older guys constantly trying to have sex with me when I was younger I am equally creeped out when a young guy deludes himself into thinking if you are gay and older that you automatically "want" him...but I don't see a problem at all if it is OK with you and meets your needs whether you are the payer or payee.

I'm too old to answer your question, Red Admiral, but while I can enjoy chatting (in real life as well as through this kind of medium) with younger men I do not seek their company for sex. I don't think I would even were I not committed to my present relationship.

Thinking about your question though, if both parties are competent adults and they both enter freely into an arrangement, including those where money changes hands, I wouldn't see it it any business of mine to judge. It would be interesting to see what some of our younger members think.

By the way, how do you enjoy Harlow? I rented near there many years ago when I was working in the area. Is the Rose of Essex still moored at Harlow Mill?

I'm fine with it if both the participants are concenting ,willing adults who know what they're getting themselves into.
It IS technically an act of prostitution though, which is something both participants should be aware of.

Nah I wouldn't do it mate. I like to earn my own money, I wouldn't sleep with some older Gay guy with money just so I could get money from him.

I wouldn't mind dating an older guy (obviously if we both connected and felt an attraction) but obviously not too old in comparison to me but I definitely wouldn't do it for money.

But isn't RA talking about a business transaction rather than a relationship? Such a transaction strikes me as the seller really having to earn their money. If someone has the goods and is willing to sell ...

Ahh right, in which case I definitely wouldn't do it. It's practically prostitution (in my eyes).
But I guess it's each to their own...

I prefer dating guys (somewhat) older than me but not for cash. I think that's being a bit of a whore.

You are just hiring youself out as an escort. Not something I'd pay for, but there are plenty who will. If you are okay with it and are getting properly renumerated for it then I don't see the problem.
