I'm kind of picky..
#21
I guess we all have ideas in our heads about our Ideal Guy . But just like in any relationship does it ever end up like this ? I would say there are certain physical characteristics that I prefer , but much of it also depends in what they are like as a person . Yes there are guys i would love to spend a night with ( John Barrowman included) but that doesnt mean they are right for a proper relationship and you wanna spend lots of time with them . Once their personality comes accross thats what really attracts . I dont think anyone finds a physically attractive perfect guy , and even if they did , they would have other characteristics which could be a huge turn off once you got to know them .

The number of times I seen a guy who was physically very hot indeed, who then opened his mouth and managed to put me right off him in a sentence or two.

Aren't we all yearning for a perfect package?

The irony is physical appearance overrides other characteristics in the first place. I wished I could read other people's minds :frown:

I suppose we have to start somewhere. Actually I fell in love with my partner's writing and thinking long before I saw a picture of him, spoke to him or met him. The physical attraction was definitely a bonus. Wink

That depends on whether you find ideas particularly attractive, but in my case it worked.

Nothing wrong with being picky.

Myself; I don't like being picky at all. It's like judging someone on something they can't control. Their appearances and all the little quirks that come with. ((Of course Hygiene you can control people! well to an extent. -cackles-)

That doesn't mean I don't have preferences, or that I'll settle for anyone. None are a requirement, though, except for one that really erks me that was already stated in an earlier post:
I prefer men who are mature, and aren't into games and playing. Little girl games annoy the hell out of me. You're either there in the relationship or not.

A little immaturity isn't too bad, though.

I won't go into any details.
