Am I Being Too Brave?
#21
Unfortunately, you live in a country where homosexuality is illegal. So it stands to reason that you'd better save your life. But if ever some form of action from the gay community is likely to make things change for the better, then join the crowd. For the moment it's better to stay alive and live in a certain secrecy than be dead or in prison.

In some cases its better to be prepared.,...

My best friends are straight (They know that I'm gay though). I don't know if they are willing to come and join a gay board. But I'll try to ask them. Although honestly I would prefer no one knows that I'm here.

Well understood Prince Albert.

You know, I find my country to be confusing sometime. It's an Islamic country that disapproves homosexuality. It's also an Islamic country that seems to becoming more Islamic in each day.

But gay people are widely spread and very transparent in here - well at least they can be seen clearly in a district called Star Hill. Star Hill is the most urban and modern district in my country.

The other day I saw few young salesmen kissing each other in a shopping mall. The next day I saw this guy french kissed another guy in a car.

I'm not exactly sure what I am trying to point out but whatever I'm seeing right now is a progress for my country. Slow progress but still a progress. But of course even though it is a progress, I will continue to keep my sexuality under blanket and only share it with my trusted friends.
