Black Sheep, lol ! That's the sheep that is generally singled out... the one that doesn't quite fit in... Very to-the-point!

In this case it refers to a particular member of the Theakston family.

I really don't fit into the whole nightclub scene either. I like to go once in a great while for fun, but that's about it. I did go to a nightclub in New York City a few years ago and had an incredible time - one of the most fun nights I've ever had. Went with a friend, danced a little, got drunk etc. But just being in NYC gives you an amazing energy I think - it's just an awesome place.
There really isn't a reason why all gay or bi guys should fit into one scene. We're all individual people. Some of us are fashionistas, some athletes, some like living in the mountains, others never leave the big-city life, some are circuit boys, etc. We're all gay (or bi) who just happen to come from different lifestyles, sometimes.

Isn't it odd that we constantly talk about a "Gay Scene" or "Gay Lifestyle" as some generic scenario that fulfills everyone's needs and desires? After all, when was the last time you heard someone speak of the "Straight Scene" or the "Straight Lifestyle?" We would think that was absurd to assume that all straight people are alike and that their interests are all the same, right?
I used to be a major gay bar fly during most of my early-to-mid twenties, but I grew out of it. I don't see anything wrong with the gay bar scene, but there comes a time in every man's life when he needs more than a thumping headache, an empty wallet and a weekend full of rejection.
Anway, I long for a time when terms such as "Gay Lifestyle" and "Gay Scene" become obsolete.
