i have been attracted to girls since i was seven and no later than a month or two after came the same feelings for other boys, in my early teens i had a few experiences with girls and girlfriends they were fun but i started to alienate myself from them around 15 cause i get along and enjoy time with guys better so all of my friends are guys, all seemingly straight.
im 19 now i will be 20 years old in a few days i have come to complete terms with my sexuality and am happy to call myself gay
i have been wanting to come out for a year and a half now i want to come out to my only two trustworthy relatives my cousins and a good friend first.
my cousin ill call him T for short, one day i lost and he found my ipod and it had gay porn all over it and i didn't go get it from him for a few days cause i was so scared, but when i did he didn't say anything at all
and i hang out with him every day and constantly think about telling him. the second ill call her L for short we were born 3 days apart and have been best friends since being babies we used 2 walk holding hands in kindergarten now that i think about it i used 2 hold my cousin T's hand in school to lol. anyways L used to have a girlfriend when she was 18 she has a boyfriend now,...... so i know she will accept me and tell me she loves me just like always when i see her, and the last is my friend who is just a neutral person in my life and he can keep a secret so i trust him and am going to use him as my tester.. anyways if you have any advice for me on coming out or anything feel free to post. to GaySpeak. It sounds like you have things mapped out for your coming out. Testing on good friends is a good way to do it, because the more you do it, the better and easier it gets... maybe not with everyone. You'll probably find that people may have had some clues earlier (or maybe not) and that younger generations might find it to be less of a problem. The thing is, when you are finally out to someone, you can't actually get back in the closet, but if they can't accept it, then it's THEIR problem, not yours. It'll also help you find out who your real friends are.
