What happens to all those twink porn stars when the industry is done with them?

I'm not sure what made me think of this, but I just wondered what happens to them afterward, and why they get into the business in the first place.

These twink porn stars get into the business at a really young age. A lot of them are even doing bareback porn, and let's face it, most porn producers don't really care about the well being of the models. I'm certainly not passing judgement. In fact, I was even planning to be a porn actor when I was a teenager, but that never happened. Anyway, what do these guys do when they're 21 and finished in the porn industry? I can't imagine that there's a whole lot else they could do afterwards. Do they just commit suicide? Do they have bad relationships with their family and that's why they get into the industry? Or are they able to find a career path?

Seeing these videos is really a double-edged sword for me. On one hand, it turns me on, but on the other hand, I feel for them and hope they are okay.

I'd love to hear some feedback on this topic.

I worked in a gay bar for 20 years and worked with alot of porn stars or former porn stars over the years and I met alot more on the other side of the bar...they are people just like everyone else and their lives are as varied as everyone else. As for not imagining they could do much else...they are people...not just porn stars. Alot of times people objectify them but that doesnt' change the fact that they are human beings. Your doctor or lawyer or dentist...or waiter...or garbage man might have been a former porn star :biggrin:

Or even you doctor, lawyer, or plumber might some day become a porn star... What I really meant was that, hey surprise, your lawyer or doctor or plumber ALSO has a sex life and might get up to that kind of tricks, but maybe not on camera.
