No.But they are not "White Supremacists " they are only white men proud to be white.Or in this age you're not allowed to be proud of who you are or else you're an extremist.Watch the double standard :blacks and latinos are allowed to be proud, they have even "black history month", organizations and so on.

I'm not a racist. Why can other races be proud of who they are and whites can't or they are considered racist.I don't hate anybody but I think that we should stand up for our own (just like other races do) what's wrong with that?

Well, they have their pride because of the atrocities that happened to them. White people have never had to experience that as a race. But the real problem is now saying that each race has to be proud of itself, but this leads to differentiation between everyone. Why can't we all have human pride instead of pride regarding our race, our sexuality, etc. We are all part of the human race and we have to stop separating ourselves from each other through labels.

I think people are cynical, and rightly so. That said, dealing with political realities (interest groups, corporate lobbying) doesn't mean that someone will make a bad politician, or a bad leader for a country. Obama is consistent in his message - yes, the realities are there but there are a lot of positive changes that can be made. I respect what I've read of him, and (amazingly) I agree with what he is saying. It makes sense to me. Demanding that all discriminatory laws are changed overnight is foolish, that's not how politics work. Working towards that change in small steps is what Obama advocates, and such honesty (rather than dissembling) is admirable to my mind.

on a social level we have made HUGE progress in the US ... many areas you don't need to be afraid .. don't need to pretend .. you just need to be you.. thats how it should be ... now we just need to stamp out those areas where it is still a problem

OMAHA, Nebraska (AP) - A surprise visit by Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin is drawing thousands of people to Omaha's Civic Auditorium.
Yvette (Eee-VET) Cordell, a 41-year-old Omaha woman, came to the Sunday evening rally to see the Alaska governor who she calls "every American."
Cordell is a registered independent who plans to vote for Republican John McCain. She says his opponent, Democrat Barack Obama, won't represent the working person.
But she's not sorry Obama decided to campaign in the 2nd District in hopes of winning 1 of Nebraska's five electoral votes

Um, It has always been assumed that McCain would take Nebraska but Obama has a chance to take an electoral vote away from him there.

The real question has been why McCain has pulled out of Michigan. It even surprised the great love child of Reagan/Thatcher aka Palin... Poor great second leader was caught off guard by the pull out... seems McCain didnt think it even important to consult with his brilliant running mate???

According to most electoral maps McCain doesnt have a prayer of winning. Needs 270 to win with McCain at 158 and Obama at 260.
