alot of people seem to have the idea that it is wrong for gay men to do anal yet its ok for a straight couple to have anal sex........so why is that??

Yeah, there's really no good reason for that. Certain religious people might say both sex and marriage are only for procreation, which is why some have been against things like gay marriage and birth control. But if they are then doing anal themselves... uh... yeah, definitely being hypocrites there.

that's why prudence is very important in every person. Remember how the church arrested Galileo and kept under house arrest for saying that the sun is the center of the universe (solar system) when the Bible said it was the earth. and in these modern times, to whom are we thankful in terms of astronomical facts? Galileo or the church?
Sound judgment. if only everyone of us has that, any form or type of discrimination, will never exist.
