Not sure if this should've gone in the "Need Your Advice" section or here, but here goes.

In the past 2 and a half months, I have had sex with 6 guys that I hooked up with on Craigslist. I had never had sex before the first one. I only gave and received oral, and I did not swallow any cum. I rimmed one of the guys. That being the case, I know that my chances of getting any STDs were very slim, but it is still risky to have sex with people you don't know.

So, if you and I were about to get it on, and I told you these things, would you be concerned about the safety of sucking my dick? Or am I just being overly paranoid about STDs?

The guys ages were 21, 21, 23, 27, 31, and the the oldest I'm not sure but guessing 35-40.

Yes, I'm definitely done with CL hookups. In addition to the safety issue, the emotional toll of throwing away one's sexuality to random strangers is not worth the pleasure I received from the encounters.

Excellent choice. CL hookups are just a waste of time. You never know who'll you run into. If you're very worried about having STDs, you should see a urologist.

You're definitely not paranoid considering that as soon as you have unprotected sex there is a chance of getting an STI/D. Whether its oral or anal. Top or bottom. There is always a possibility.

I would recommend getting tested. For both you and your future sexual partners sakes. You can't be too careful.(Or maybe I'M paranoid.:redface

Oh, and i doubt their ages have any effect on the likely hood of them having an STI/D,

Okay, bit of a personal subject here but here goes - (bearing in mind this is ME voicing my opinion, others will be different)

If you had told me that - Yes I would be a little concerned initially and probably be wary about sleeping with you or having fun. It's less to do with the STD concerns and more to do with self respect and emotional security. Been there and seen this before, twice over.

I'm not a prude but I find that kinda history a real turn-off... It makes me wonder whether this guy has any problems, as random sex tends (but is not necessarily) to show a need for closeness but an inability to bond and love. It sets the warning lights flashing! for me at least...

Do it early though - I once went out with a guy who waited a few years to tell me all his horror stories, and if it hadn't been for the fact we were close and loved each other I mighta considered breaking up with him. These were bad things btw, jailbait hookup, thrown out of a club for cubicle fun, sending one lad to get the bus home after... shit I DIDN'T want to hear.

So get it out of the way early and don't be too specific. If you tell a guy you've made some mistakes and you're not proud of it, he'll probably know what you mean and can go from there. Personally I've had a lot of bad experience going out with guys who've liked hookups, it's something that throws me off people a bit from past experience.

Secondary guy warned me about all this stuff similarly, that he'd done some bad things, and just used to spout random almost boastful stories about some lay like it was the funniest thing; honestly there is nothing more obnoxious.

So don't feel too bad cutie, sounds like you've been there and done that. Just remember that more serious guys may be concerned about it in future, but not in a major way; you're still YOU and will attract nicer guys who will make you feel better about yourself.

My advice get yourself checked (if only to relieve your own concerns). Then (assuming you are given the all clear) no one needs to know your sexual history, it's just a question of whether you want to be honest if a guy asks.
