What music are you listening to?

Hmm out of those I like The Knife and iamamiwhoami, but there were some I haven't listened to. I just feel like Sweden gets a lot of national credit for its pop artists like Robyn and Lykke Li and I just don't feel like the music they make is all that noteworthy That's why I was really happy to find Mariam.

I'm not really a Robyn fan and think she is at her best when with Royksopp, but I do enjoy a lot of Swedish pop and electronica.

I was so disappointed when I realized Robyn's collaboration with Röyksopp was merely an EP...and it has only one good song. Very lame. Such sadness.

The Deer Tracks are pretty cute. I never really got into them that much though. I'd recommend Cloetta Paris. Another Swedish project. Cuteness overload.



As for what I'm listening to: "Believe It" by Ronika. The album was released earlier this month, but sounds like it was out 30 years ago. Very retro. Lovely. But I can't post links yet so nobody's gonna hear it :<

Was just sort of wondering if anyone here uses last.fm? Hardly anyone I know does and I need more friends on there to get more recommendations D:

But Robyn did have tracks before with Royksopp and they are for the most part better than her solo stuff, although they are not as good as the Royksopp stuff with Karen of TheKnife/Fever Ray.

As for last.fm, I have no friends there because the only thing I use it for is to scrobble from Spotify and YouTube to keep a chart of what I'm listening to the most for my own curiosity.

I have my scrobbler on all the time but I rarely log on to my last.fm account. Just now I visited my page and noticed most of the nice pictures I uploaded there have expired :| Last.fm is a nice tool sometimes for finding new artists though.
