princealbertofb - i watched the vid of the gay pride thing and are all the prides like this ? can u just go to them and just watch in casual clothes, im not flamboyant, camp or extrovert, infact u wouldnt pic me out as gay in any group of people, i'd like to chat more about stuff like this if we can, not sure which part of forums though cos im sure i have issues/problems with it that i could do with some help with

You can wear whatever you like. It's not as if anyone is going to cut up your membership card. It's like anything else you dress in whatever you think is appropriate for the occasion. If you're going to dance, wear comfortable clothes and dancing shoes; if you want to be noticed, wear something outrageous; if you want to hide away, wear a burka and go to Bradford.

Seriously, I would say that most people I've seen at the occasional Pride I've attended dressed pretty "normally". I usually do too.

thx marshlander, was starting to get a bit paranoid about finally goin to a pride event, where i live we dont see stuff like that so i suppose i better expand my expectations a little, like i said in other threads,my mates are happy for me to be gay but i suppose if i turned up for a night out in gold hot pants and a feather boa then they might not agree as much :biggrin: , would be hilairious to do it once though.

think ive just been a bit sheltered from more outgoin gay guys thats all - we do have a gay night on tues in town but people just wear the nice clothes they would on any weekend out - sorry if my post sound a bit confusing, just wasnt sure how to get accross the things i wanted to ask about the vid and the way i am.
