#02 TLC

TLC is an American girl group whose repertoire spans R&B, hip hop, soul, funk and new jack swing. TLC originally comprised singer Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, rapper Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes and singer Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas. The group was very successful in the 1990s and early 2000s in spite of numerous spats with the law, each other, and the group's record label.

TLC's debut album, Ooooooohhh... On the TLC Tip (1992), sold 6 million copies worldwide and spawned the hit singles "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg", "Baby-Baby-Baby" and "What About Your Friends". This success was surpassed by their second album, CrazySexyCool (1994), which was certified diamond by the RIAA — a first for a female group. Buoyed by the top 5 singles "Creep", "Red Light Special", "Diggin' on You", and '"Waterfalls", it eventually sold 23 million copies worldwide. Five years later, in 1999, the group released their third album FanMail which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 album chart and sold more than 11 million copies worldwide with the hit singles "No Scrubs" and "Unpretty". The subsequent tour became the highest grossing tour of all time by a female band. In April 2002, Lopes died in a car accident in Honduras. Seven months later, T-Boz and Chilli released the group's fourth album 3D, which sold 2 million copies worldwide, scored the Top 10 hit "Girl Talk", and earned two Grammy Awards nominations. It featured previously unreleased vocals from Left Eye.

#01 The Supremes

The Supremes were an American female singing group and the premier act of Motown Records during the 1960s. Founded as the Primettes in Detroit, Michigan, in 1959, the Supremes were the most commercially successful of Motown's acts and are, to date, America's most successful vocal group with 12 number one singles on the Billboard Hot 100. Most of these hits were written and produced by Motown's main songwriting and production team, Holland–Dozier–Holland. At their peak in the mid-1960s, the Supremes rivaled the Beatles in worldwide popularity, and their success made it possible for future African American R&B and soul musicians to find mainstream success.

Founding members Florence Ballard, Mary Wilson, Diana Ross, and Betty McGlown, all from the Brewster-Douglass public housing project in Detroit, formed the Primettes as the sister act to the Primes (with Paul Williams and Eddie Kendricks, who went on to form the Temptations). Barbara Martin replaced McGlown in 1960, and the group signed with Motown the following year as the Supremes. Martin left the act in early 1962, and Ross, Ballard, and Wilson carried on as a trio.

During the mid-1960s, the Supremes achieved mainstream success with Ross as lead singer. In 1967, Motown president Berry Gordy renamed the group Diana Ross & the Supremes, and replaced Ballard with Cindy Birdsong. Ross left to pursue a solo career in 1970 and was replaced by Jean Terrell, at which point the group's name reverted to the Supremes. After 1972, the lineup changed more frequently; Lynda Laurence, Scherrie Payne, and Susaye Greene all became members of the group during the mid-1970s. The Supremes disbanded in 1977 after an 18-year run.

I have heard of Motown and this singing group, I listened to a few of the songs you put, they were nice ^^

I listen to all different kinds of songs >,< and some in English, a lot is not English, haha but here are a few that I like, hope that you like them everyone tell me what you think if you want :3

The song below is from Corpse Party: Bloodcovered one of my favorite series and this is the most of the song I can get with subs, it is focused towards a lot of the character's emotions as they are trapped in the school. They are each looking for each other, some even love each other, no one is really completely stable in here, except for one character, but she isn't there much. (The most stable character is NOT the Adult teacher if that's who you think/ have watched it), Corpse Party has a series of anime/games however it is VERY graphic. It is dramatic and has a lot of action... er well not really like DC action or anything like that haha, and it can be genuinely creepy at times. I like this because of the characters and the fact that it makes me absorbed into it, the plot is amazing, even though it is very violent too, and I can genuinely relate so some of the character's emotions.

Next is a song is by Gumi, a vocaloid and if you know what a vocaloid is then congrats to you, this is a bit of an "uplifting" song and I actually can relate to what Gumi is singing here. I have felt this way when I was only a bit younger, hehe, I hope that you're all able to grasp the meaning of it ^^ hehe, and it's also said that adults don't always teach us the right things (a line from the song)

And the last one if from Aoki Lapis, one of the most adorable Vocaloids and her voice is soooo cute >,< *sigh* but this song is up for your interpretation, hope you enjoy it ^^

Some new Indie-Pop. A video that is kind of both cute and creepy at the same time.
