If the transcription I found was accurate I have attempted a rough translation. PA will put me right, I'm sure Wink Presumably the mumbling is JJ Burnell? No more heroes, then!

Good evening.
You don’t seem to have any passengers in your car.
Can you, do you, if it’s not too much trouble, want to see me?
My boots won’t leave too many echoes in your hall;
No noise from my farewells.
Not for us lost moments,
Waiting for an uncertain goodbye
Because I am mad, yes, it is madness.
Once there was a student who, like in a book,
Really wanted his girlfriend.
She was so sweet that, in his love,
He could almost reject all vice
Spurn all evil
Destroy all beauty
Which, in addition, had never been his accomplices
Because he was mad, yes it is madness.
And if sometimes we confessed
To whom are we confessing?
Who are we telling – even God lets us down.
Another time, another life
And, yes, it’s another story,
But who are you telling?
In night’s shadow
At dawn, in the grey light
How many crimes have been committed
Against lies and so-called laws of the heart
How many there are because of madness
Because he is mad.

The first blues song that really made an impression on me. I saw Son House perform this in London about forty years ago, when he was about seventy. Still very powerful.
