I'm sure we have our faire share of dreadful songs in France as well... Oh well, I guess all nationalities and countries have their Bard (referring to the bard in Asterix, btw what's his name in English? In French it's Assurancetousrix (all inclusive insurance cover) and he ends up more often than not singing on his own in a tree or gagged against singing.

watch "less than zero" film with robert in - he's well fit in it but he plays a guy who gets really badly into drugs - should have been a warning for him but i guess not
