So what do people think of this song???

Sorry, only got through the first few seconds, so if it changes later I didn't get to it.

There was one time in my life where I would have listened to that style of music, but I don't like it any more.

I find that the music I listen to is, for me, a mirror reflection of my mood. This week I've noticed I'm listening to lots of songs about being in love...

I don't listen to many love songs. But I do have a lot of love for my friends and for most people. I'm I lover and a fighter.

First impression after reading the lyrics a couple of times and listening to the first couple of minutes ...

I read the lyrics first and thought they were creepy and unpleasant. This guy has the wrong idea about parenthood, if it is really meant to be a song about a father/son relationship?

Then I listened to the music. It's quite enticing and I found it an interesting enough distraction from the "poison devils" in the lyrics. Compulsive rhythm, some Seal-like chord progressions and the Metallica-signature changes in texture and dynamics.

Appealing, but misguided. Is it nasty or just depressingly naive?

Don't ask me. I'm probably too old to be in on the joke.

The song that made me fall in love with music. Heather Small's voice is incredible. I always come back to M People when i'm feeling down, knowing that their music can lift you up so easily.

I think its about governments. And how corrupt they can be. Maybe about american government when Bush was in power. its a maybe.

A chilled out classic that seems, to me, to be resurfacing as part of the essential playlist of some of the more chilled out dance floors at several discos; and also as part of my mum's saturday morning housework soundtrack! Great song!
