On the asphalt, wet from the recent rain,
I saw a long shadow --
It sparkled so brightly,
That tears suddenly came welling up...

On the thorny path
You led me down,
I bleed and then rust over.

There's an ache deep in my heart;
I want to sink my agonized body
Into the sea...
Beyond a darkness I don't want,
The moon laughs at me
As I tremble.

We start to make things and then give up,
And break them for no reason --
Those things are always intangible,
And we don't realise until we've lost them...

If my arms around you
Are a burden,
Just trample them.

Tied up by the thread of fate,
Unable to move,
Just stumbling around
In this silent world...
Even if you were here,
There'd be no reason for living.

[Instrumental break] [1]

Don't stop the hands
That push you forward;
See it through until the end...

Tied up by the thread of fate,
Unable to move,
Just stumbling around
In this silent world...
Even if you were here,
There'd be no reason for living.

I've counted so many
Endless darknesses
That have passed by so selfishly...
The moon shone on me
As I sang out to the sky,
Knowing my song wouldn't reach it.
Oasis Heart3's Note:
[1] During the instrumental break, you'll hear part of Bach's "Brendenburg Concerto No.3" playing in the background.

I'm listening to the sound from The Vikings series 1 and 2 while I'm out driving about.

To read that in the Romanji and not Japanese, is a strain on the Brain lol, cause a lot of the words could mean many things without the Kanji to describe them, but going by context and the Translation at the bottom, I get it.

And I love how what she's actually saying, isn't grammatically perfect but makes the song more "swishy" or "free flowy" I guess you can say. It's not at all rigid.

Eu adoro essa canção🎶 , especialmente no português, porque posso de sentir as muitas coisas o cantor é dizendo e a força do quê as palavras se significa.

É uma coisa maravilhosa. 🐇

I love getting to hear and feel things expressed in this way, as equally as I do for things in English. Portuguese has been in my life since forever, and this is my first time hearing this song in it lol.

Vou a chorar Frog

Não vou a traduzir, mas, essa canção é sobre a batalha dos corações dos combatentes e a habilidade de continuar com todas das mudanças.

Or in English : "I won't translate, but, this song is about the Battle of the Hearts of the Fighters and the ability to carry on with all the Changes."
