Eh, most sites will be okay and most don't troll sites. I did have a sister, who knew about me but wasn't ready for others to know about me, stumble across a yahoo profile, so to an extent you should be careful about public profiles if you are in a situation with some homophobes. But I've had pics up on gay-centric sites for years (now including this one) without ever having an incident. If you share a computer, just be sure to clear the history and autofill forms after each session.
