i think i would like to have kids someday...Im also interested in the forming of gay support groups for parents. While long term integration is the best result i think we need some sort of school system that can cope with gay parents/kids.....Bullying in the uk seems to be endemic and getting worse!

I would like to have children... Moreover, sometimes I fill real, very strong need for it. But I have many doubts as well - will be my child able to adapt socially? what will he(she) feel/think about us (parents)? how will he (she) take us (me and BF) and our relationships?

Moreover, I am concerned about his (her) possible homosexuality - I really do not want he (she) will get this as it's much harder to live with this than being straight.

I was married and I have children. They are the one thing that has made most of my life worth living ... until I met Albert. I remember dreaming vividly, when I was about sixteen, about being a dad (I wrote a song about these dreams at the time). The reality turned out to be more challenging and more rewarding than I ever imagined. I wouldn't have survived past twenty-five had it not been for one of the kids in particular.

Now they are all adults and are all people I would be proud to know under any circumstances. If you want to be a parent and are prepared to commit to the long haul I can guarantee you'll never experience a love like it. The closest thing to real magic I'll ever know.

eyy up! old thread! woot.
1) I'd love to have kids at some point! But only if I was with someone who wanted the same. But yeah raising kids would be fanastic.
2) I wouldn't mind. I wouldn't recommend it (unless there are some major changes in society between now and then), but I wouldn't stand in their way. As long as they don't get fucked over because of it I wouldn't worry.

On the question of the kids being gay..thats fine. Whatever their sexuality is would be fine by me.
My personal experience of being gay has been nice and im sure theirs would too.
However i would be quite strict about their exposure to homophobic peers, media etc...which would be more challenging but worth it

I love kids and have always wanted to able to have them, when I was younger, my very close girlfriend (friend) always said she would be a surrogate. It never happened.

If one of them turned out to be gay........ Shouldn't really be an issue, but hey, who cares if one of them turned to be gay.
