I've not given it much more thought than that, since, now being 49, I don't think it would be easy to cope with bringing up a child at my age. Anyway I deal with other people's kids daily in my job, so really, I don't miss it so much on a daily basis.
I did once, when I was much younger dream that I was delivering a baby... It was the strangest feeling... Heaven knows what physical sensation was going through my body at the time to make me feel like a woman delivering... I don't remember that I'd seen anything on the subject recently which might have sparked the thought. But the dream was so vivid, I remember it to this day.
I know though, that there are other ways of being creative without having babies. And Marshlander's kids and my brothers' are enough to fill my need for the younger set.

I d like to have kids later in life when i will have the life experience and financial security i am after. Dont expect to be with a partner to do that i am not sure he will ever come, and single gay men in the UK can now adopt. Of course its not easy , your life is scrutinized by a social worker like for 3 years or more and then takes time to link you with a child. However if i am in a position to offer a child security, stability and love i ll go for it.

Their sexuality would be irrelevant to me they can be whatever they want but a criminal, fraud or drug addict.

I for one take offense that "the kid will turn out gay, just because it lives with a man who is and acts gay" and the word "Normal"
