Being in the oceans blue,
Awash with the salty ocean spray
While rocking to and fro on my boathouse.
This is what true beauty is to me,
Being able to gaze upon the vast, endless expanse of blue waters.
And when the sun sets, how it plays out upon the waters.
Like millions of fireflies, or fairies.
And at night, how wonderful it is
When the moon is fullest
And the way it playsupon the waters at night.
Silver, with deep, velvet blue.
To be rocked to sleep,
Like a mother rocks her child off to sleep
While singing sweet melodies in the childs ear.
The oceans play a melody, a soft, gentle tune
That stirs my soul. That carries me away.
To that world beneath the waters.
The wind, with the ocean spray, the gentle, rocking waves
This is natures lullaby, the lullaby of my soul.
