Up until that point in the UK the big stars at the time. The Girl bands were dying out, boybands were selling out, Dance acts were big, and artists like Fatboy slim, the offspring were at the top of the charts - then came Britney - which was completely out of sync from the rest and im sure if you are as well educated in music as you are trying to make out you will appreciate from those acts Britney spears was completely different. (Unless you are too stubborn to accept it, Again Im focusing on UK music as I am British and that is where my knowledge is based). Britney and Christina just to make it clear are nothing alike and if you have heard both sing live you will appreciate there is a massive difference
Oh btw did I miss the point where I said I liked her music or is that something you fabricated?

Glee just isnt funny just childish too me that is.
I like laughing at things that are funny, not some strange hummur thats in the show..

Weeds season 7 FTW!!!!
episode 1 is out saving it for a decent time cannot wait one bit to watch it.
Never been able to get into true blood, dont wannt jump into the middle of a season before watching the start
Glee is quite good imo, they do some good covers of classic music, would be interested to see them do some pink floyd covers, thats my opinion on it, worth watching just for the music, story line is a bonus, i just dont talk about it due to the "gay" label that is associated to it.

NOOO!!! Glee is amazing!! It brings all of my favorite things together! Singing, dancing, theater, beautiful people. real issues....and it does it in a way that is appealing to the masses. I think we should be applauding the writers and actors for the work they do and the issues they tackle that aren't always so popular for a prime time show on a major network. Give it a chance. Watch a few episodes and then maybe you'll see what I mean. You don't have to like it though, to each his/her own...but I think if you gave it a real chance, you might like it.

TV covers a lot more than just soaps and shows like Glee - and it isnt all depressing can be quite factual again personal preferences and all

It's all subjective really and there are no right answers...just opinions and (hopefully) respect for each other's opinion. I wish there were more things on TV I wanted to watch but there isn't much I am interested in.
If they give Sue a chill pill I might tune in again next year. They have done alot of cool stuff......I think they have contributed positively to gay high school youth and for that alone they deserve our gratitude and respect. Being gay in high school is rough and they have addressed this very thing repeatedly. I know I would have appreciated it when I was in HS.
