The Children of Israel wandered through the desert for forty years. Even in Biblical times men would still not stop to ask for directions! :tongue:

As an aside can anyone explain why stopping to ask for directions is an 'unmanly' thing to do? I feel it very strongly and will do almost anything to avoid having to do so but I have no idea why we men feel this way.

Possibly because we have that intimate knowledge that somehow we'll figure a way out to get there? We were having that discussion at midday with all my girlfriends (I was the only male at lunchtime) and I was wondering why a GPS was such a man's gadget when women need them so much more often... lol.
