I started smoking when I was about 13-14 because it was a acceptable practice with in my social circle. I smoked on and off till my 19th birthday. I quit for a year and a half. When I was 20 I went through a rough patch where I had no job, no car, no support system and I was homeless at the time. I started to smoke clips to relieve the stress. I told myself I wasnt going to start smoking again or buy cigarettes. A week later I relapsed completely and I was smoking again full time. I vowed to quit ASAP. Fast foward six years later I was smoking 2 packs a day. Through out the six years I made quiting attempts but they never stuck.. Smoking 40 cigarettes in 16 hours cant be good for a persons health or wallet. So I decided it just wasn't worth it anymore so I quit smoking. I was quit for two and a half years before I relapsed recently by smoking those cigars.
Thanks for all the support guys. It really means allot. I currently am in the middle of day three of being smoke free and after today I will be done with the withdrawal phase. I should be able to pick up right where I left off with leading a smoke free life.
